Food Committee - Planning the food for the event, soliciting donations for food/supply items needed, contacting vendors/stores/restaurants trying to get the cheapest prices for the food, preparing the food, working in the kitchen during the event, serving the food, cleaning up after the event in the kitchen. Rosemary N. chairs the Food Committee. There are 12 events every year TLC does that food is needed for, whether we make it ourselves or we hire a caterer (Krolick's for our chicken barbecue and fish-fry) to do. The Food Committee is on hand to organize, serve, and clean-up. Three of these events are hot dogs only: serving hotdogs at Clyde's Feed store in Hamburg, during our garage sale, or at Value when we do our annual fundraiser.
Dessert Committee - There are nine events throughout the year TLC needs desserts for to accompany our meals the Food Committee serves. Three of these events include bake sales in which extra baked goods/desserts are needed to sell and raise monies. We are looking for a volunteer to chair the Dessert Committee. If you can make/purchase/get desserts donated for all or a few of these events, or bake items for our bake sales please consider being a part of this committee.
Decorating Committee - There are five events held at the Knights of Columbus Hall that TLC needs decorations for: 1) Sweetheart Dinner - the Saturday before Valentines so all red items/decorations/centerpieces/displays for Valentine’s Day are needed, 2) Easter for our Pancake Breakfast/Easter Plant Sale - all spring/Easter items/centerpieces needed, 3) Pasta dinner - fall decorations & centerpieces needed, 4) Halloween - fish fry where all scary/Halloween/orange and black items are needed, getting free pumpkin donations, hay, etc. 5) Holiday Wreath Sale - all holiday/Christmas/winter items are needed. We are looking for a volunteer to chair the Decorating committee. If you do not wish to commit to decorating, we can still use any of the above holiday decorations!
Fundraising Committee – This is a new committee we are hoping to form. New ideas/events would be generated by all to raise monies for our group, with this committee taking charge of the project/program/event and seeing it through from start to finish. This committee would be in charge of TLC's yearly fundraisers which includes ensuring that volunteer staff and all items needed to make a successful event are in place. We are looking for a volunteer(s) to chair this committee to move us ahead with money-making events and to ensure our current fundraising is successful.

Evenings: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturdays/Sundays: 9:00am - 11am
Sunday evening: 5:00pm - 6:00pm (before closing).
