Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Ten Lives Club! There are many ways in which volunteers of all ages, skills, and abilities can help the cats and kittens in our care. Below are the current volunteer roles available for application.
If under 18 years old age, a parent/legal guardian MUST be present for the duration of volunteering
For students who are required to complete volunteer hours for a school program, please see our Service Learning/Student information below.

Service Learning/Student Volunteer (Blasdell Shelter)
*Service Learning: Students who are required to complete community service hours for school/college are able to complete hours at our Blasdell Shelter location ONLY. These volunteers primarily help with basic cat care and cleaning of the free-roaming feline rooms within our shelter. Duties include giving fresh food and water, scooping litter boxes, sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, etc. Some office work, data entry, and other projects may be available as well depending on current needs.
Must be able to bend and lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to kneel on the floor as needed
Experience caring for/handling cats is preferred but not required
Compassion towards animals
Must be able to work along side other volunteers, staff, and guests at our shelter
Reliable transportation
Commitment to a scheduled shift is preferred, but some flexibility is available
